You may encounter unrealistic fear if you have a generalized anxiety disorder. It may further cause excessive anxiety and panic attacks. Therefore, at least five of these symptoms are present in these patients:

  • Autonomic hyperactivity: smothering sensations, sweating, cold, accelerated heart rate, clammy hands, dry mouth, flushes, chills, or nausea.
  • Motor tension: feeling shaky, aches, twitching, trembling, soreness, muscle tension, or restlessness.

Dosage of Xanax

Xanax is available in oral tablets and extended-release tablets. An oral tablet dissolves quickly and provides instant effects. Just like other drugs, initiate the treatment with the lowest possible dose. Furthermore, your doctor may raise the doses as required.
